America's Future?

Our only hope, peacefully, is to get the electoral college to stop the winner take all format. Example: California goes 55-45 or close to it almost every election, yet all 55 electoral votes go to the democrat (winner take all), so almost half the state goes unrepresented. Fixing this one issue would at least give us a chance, as of now we don't have one

That's a state issue, Maine & Nebraska already have the ability to split their electoral votes based on the results of each congressional district & the overall statewide vote. Obama actually pulled 1 electoral vote from the district that contains Omaha in 2008 & split Nebraska's electoral college vote for the 1st time ever. There are a couple people that have done some analysis on what a nationwide election would probably look like if all states adopted the same or similar laws & they appear to generally favor Republican candidates.

I got to go Trump, at least I trust what he say's IMO.. He shoots straight and doesn't worry about media and such.. We need a ass kicker ...

What boggles my mind when I see a bumper sticker or sign- there's almost half our country (millions) mentally-ill enough to vote for Hillary Clinton?!?!? Yes, Obama is liberalism & mental disorder to the max but- Hillary Clinton?! For real?!? Just what we need- that'll fix things. Another Clinton & far more repulsive than the 1st one. If it's "Clinton vs Bush" - I'm moving to Antarctica or a deserted island. Bring my family, some deer, seed, medical supplies & call it a day. I sure hope this country develops a vaccine for Liberalism. Mental disorder that needs a cure or will wipe this country out.

She was in charge last time too, puppet master. The reason we all see more liberal support media is because they are bumping their gums and hollering their opinion any chance they get.

How true, here's a narrative of things she was in charge of....

When Bill Clinton was president, he allowed Hillary to assume authority over health care reform. Even after threats and intimidation, she couldn’t even get it to a vote in a Democrat controlled Congress. This fiasco cost the American taxpayers about $13 million for studies, promotion, and other efforts.

Then President Clinton gave Hillary authority over selecting a female attorney general. Her first two selections were Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood – both were forced to withdraw their names from consideration. Next she chose Janet Reno – husband Bill described her selection as “my worst mistake.” Some may not remember that Reno made the decision to assault David Koresh's Branch Davidian religious sect in Waco, Texas resulting in the deaths of dozens of women and children.

Husband Bill allowed Hillary to make recommendations for the head of the Civil Rights Commission. Lani Guanier was her selection. When a little probing led to the discovery of Ms. Guanier’s radical views, her name had to be withdrawn from consideration.

Apparently a slow learner, husband Bill allowed Hillary to make some more recommendations. She chose former law partners Web Hubbel for the Justice Department, Vince Foster for the White House staff, and William Kennedy for the Treasury Department. Her selections went well: Hubbel went to prison, Foster (presumably!) committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to resign.

Many younger votes will have no knowledge of “Travelgate.” Hillary wanted to award unfettered travel contracts to Clinton friend Harry Thompson – and the White House Travel Office refused to comply. She managed to have them reported to the FBI and fired. This ruined their reputations, cost them their jobs, and resulted in a thirty-six month investigation. Only one employee, Billy Dale was charged with a crime, that of mixing personal and White House funds. A jury acquitted him in less than two hours

Still not convinced of her ineptness, Hillary was allowed to recommend a close Clinton friend, Craig Livingstone, for the position of Director of White House security. When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of about 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (Filegate) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, suddenly Hillary and the president denied even knowing Livingstone, and of course, denied knowledge of drug use in the White House. Following this debacle, the FBI closed its White House Liaison Office after more than thirty years of service to seven presidents.

Next, when women started coming forward with allegations of sexual harassment and rape by Bill Clinton, Hillary was put in charge of the “bimbo eruption” and scandal defense. Some of her more notable decisions in the debacle were:

• She urged her husband not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit. After the Starr investigation they settled with Ms. Jones.

• She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor. After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr's investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs.

• Hillary’s devious game plan resulted in Bill losing his license to practice law for lying under oath to a grand jury and his subsequent impeachment by the House of Representatives.

• Hillary avoided indictment for perjury and obstruction of justice during the Starr investigation by repeating, “I do not recall,” “I have no recollection,” and “I don’t know” a total of 56 times while under oath.

After leaving the White House, Hillary was forced to return an estimated $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and artwork that she had stolen.

Now we are exposed to: the destruction of possibly incriminating emails while Hillary was Secretary of State and the “pay to play” schemes of the Clinton Foundation – we have no idea what shoe will fall next. But then – “What difference does it make?”

Trump has my interest for sure. I really like the thought of a bull headed, don't care what anybody thinks president getting in there. Just so long as his bullheadedness is pushing in the correct direction. Personally I'm behind mr. Carson first. He is an extremely intelligent man. Well thought out, well spoken with fantastic values and morals. Either way, Trump or Carson, neither of them is a career politician which makes them both well received in my book.

I'd prefer Carson also after listening to him on issues such as the Charleston shooting. Trump would be better than Hilary that's for sure.

Ben Carson is awesome! Agree. Maybe a trump/Carson ticket? Personally, I'd honestly be excited if anyone of them beat The crooked Clinton machine except maybe Bush or Chris Christy. The real bottom line I'll never know- who ever can shake up Washington the most and get rid of the most incompetent people and policies we've seen for 20, 30 years now. Love to see career politicians go by-by (term limits) along with a million other things everyone of us knows is wrong with our country. Common sense is needed & bout sick of political correctness, pandering to every group (including illegals who aren't even citizens), special interests and a bunch of sissies that are all talk. Politicians of the last 20 yrs I've watched em are pretty weak & all talk. Bunch of bums that need to go. :)

Hillary fell again in IA polls, she's in serious trouble as her scandals continue.

It could be Trump vs. Biden?

I really feel most of the republicans can beat any demo in this election. Only problem will be when Carson gets the rep. nod then Trump will go ind. ultimately taking some votes with him. I would probably take trump (if what he says isn't all talk) but he's def not a true republican. He will implode and take down all rep's with him if he doesn't get the nod. I kind of feel this is what all Demo's are hoping for....as their only chance.

Yes Sligh1 100% term limits. I liked Ben Carson even before all this started. Trump would be fine also. Never really been a fan of Donald but he has upset so many people he is worth a nod.
