Hasn't been alot of gobbling over this way but this morning was different. Started out with a coyote challenging something about fly down time. He lit the timber up. Plus another hunter was across the creek on a hoot owl call. I thought the whole group would come my way sometime. Well they shot and things got quiet. hens were flying north. Not good. But I thought give them some time and maybe. About 20 min. and this young bird poked his head out. Guess he thought it might be safer in numbers. Nothing fancy but he will do as I'm off to Neb. tomorrow. Good luck to all.
