Buck velve

I am in the process of setting stands and was curious as to when most of you see bucks start rubbing off velvet

Usually end of august,first of september for me.

The earliest I have ever had hard horn pics of a buck was August 18th. Seems like most of them will strip the first 10 days of Sept. I'm curious what that has to do with you hanging stands? Just wondering.

It really doesn't matter at all, the thought just crossed my mind as I was walking the woods this morning.
