I have about 20 acres to burn in Guthrie county and the contractor I had lined up wasn’t sure if he’d get to me in time with the early green up and windy weather. Any recommendations of someone who I can contact? So far everyone I’ve called is in the same boat. They’ll put me down, but if I can get someone else that’s fine as well so that doesn’t leave me very confident it’s gonna get done. I mowed pretty wide fire breaks last fall as well.

My neighbor does 100 acres across fm me by himself every couple years. Mow a good break around it and back burn. Ride around with your sprayer and a blower and you should be able to knock down anything that try’s to jump.
