Finding Sainfoin semi locally?

Anyone know where to find sainfoin either in Iowa or closest place to it? All I can find is out west.

How/when do you plant this? A neighbor of mine swears by it, but he gets it in a mix under the name of Edge by Whitetail Institute. I am not sure I want the "mix".
