I was able to go out west and wrap my tag around my first ever antelope. Was a great trip all around! He wasnt with on this trip but but thanks to Josh (TH) as I wouldnt have been anywhere around these speed goats if it wasnt for his help on the area.
I spotted this buck with about 15 does bedded down about 600 yards away. With the wind I didnt want to take too far of a shot so I used the land to put a stalk on and crawled (i have cactus in my hands and knees still) to 80 yards- and laid there for some time. I decided with the wind swirling I needed to get him to stand up- so I whistled. He stood up and I took my shot- he ran about 15 yards and did the death spin. Was a great hunt and well worth the trip!
