Place to stay near Rathbun Lake/Chariton

Just wondering if anyone would have any info on any cabins or houses that could be rented out in the Rathbun Lake/Chariton area. Coming up the first week of November and trying to find a place to stay instead of a motel. Any help is very much appreciated.

Doggs RV Park has some cabins that can be rented fairly cheap. I'm not sure if the Appanoose County Conservation Board does. Honey Creek Resort has cabins but you are going to pay more. Regardless of your decision, I would be calling right away to reserve one. Start with Doggs RV Park.

X2 on Doggs, good food right there too especially fish night. There will be a lot of other hunters stying there that week so you can talk movement with them at night over a cold one.

Stayed at foxtail cabins last year for gun season. Right next door to Doggs but nicer cabins. Rates were very reasonable.
