I agree with Blake with being dry. However if there is a chance that they were in touch of some type of moisture (humidity, dampness) your probably better off getting a new package of primers to be on the safe side.
Take it from me........use NEW primers. I had a big 8 step out at 75yds during last gun season and the gun mis fired. Gun made spark, and when I lifted me head the gun went off. Shot another later with new powder and same primers that were in my hunting vest and same deal. They must have gotten bad some time through out the year and cost me the biggin.
