Don't know if they still make them but the 22 ft skyscraper ladder stand from realtree very comfortable and big platform. I own 2 and love them!

I would go with the guide gear from sportsmans guide i own quite a few of them and have never had a problem. There is alot of room and they are very sturdy if put up right. The Big Game Partner Pro is a sweet setup for a reasonable price. It's a double, so you can take your Dad with you if you want. I have several, and what I like most about it is the size of the platform...very big so you feel like you're on the ground with all kinds of room to move around while standing. There are other brands that are similar and would work just as well, but look for the big platform. They're a beast to put up, but once in place well worth the effort :way:
