DLC Covert Videos

I have a gate that has a gap on the west end and the deer crawl under it. I figured I'd hang the DLC Covert II on a fence post and see if I could catch some video of the deer going under it.


I got more footage of raccoons than anything else:


Then I got 2 seconds of this guy:


There were a couple of cats and a squirrel to round out the critters. Just so you know, the videos lose a little when hosted on Photobucket. They look better when I view that original on my computer.

How much time has passed between a coyote going through it and a deer? I would be curious to see that.

Also, will bucks go underneath it once they develop racks or not?

I had tons of videos but deleted many to cut down memory usage on the computer. I never thought to check if the coyote messed up the deer travel patterns, but I doubt it. There are so many coyotes in the area the deer are probably getting somewhat used to crossing their paths.

Also, will bucks go underneath it once they develop racks or not?

I might have to put the camera back there later this year to see if the bucks crawl under once they have headgear.

She sure is full of pups. Got one last month that had 9 pups.
