We put down our fair share. I think we are at 125 honkers on the year. It was a tough weekend between coyotes jumping the birds the night before and the weather. Only got into 10 honks all weekend.
 
ya ll must have alot more birds down your way. I moved to northeast iowa 21/2 yrs ago from Michigan, the waterfowl hunting there is phenomenal, I moved here for the archery hunting but have been seriously disappointed with the goose hunting. It was nothing to kill between 500 to 750 birds a year back home and am finding it hard to kill 50 a year here, granted the limit was 5 a day in the early season there, but if ya ll ever need an extra gunner feel free to give me a shout :) I have a 14ft enclosed trailer and run all hardcores and xlander blinds, prolly not what your looking for but if your interested shoot me a message. Hope your season goes well and ya ll keep shootin em in the face. Good luck and God Bless!

I bet you would be surprised. We dont have a lot of birds down this way but we put miles and miles on our trucks scouting all across southern Iowa.
