I believe the answer is yes and they changed the rules so the youth tag does not count against his other tag optiona and is strictly a bonus tag. Easiest way is to log into the online app with his info and see if it's available for purchase after he got his youth tag
Yeah that will be his gun tag for year.

Ok cool. I'm not taking him shotgun or late muzz anyways. This helps fill the freezer as his sisters said "I dont wanna hunt this year"
