Happy Father’s Day to the men in here with children. Skip treats this website like his baby so I figured I’d share a photo of him checking his corn when he first began his journey on growing giant whitetails. You might be able to tell from the black and white that the mission began many years ago. I mean look at his farming attire too.

Haha, love that photo—definitely looks like a vintage start to a big project! It’s amazing how some of the best ventures begin with a simple step like that. It reminds me of a photo I have of my dad from when he first started his garden years ago. It’s a black and white shot too, just him with an old rake, his sleeves rolled up, and a focused look on his face. I’ve got it on my https://www.nixplay.com/ digital picture frame now, and it’s always a reminder of how far he’s come and how much that garden means to him. Fathers always seem to take pride in their “projects”—whether it’s giant whitetails or a backyard full of veggies!
