Broadleaf herbicide

Sprayed my plot last week with gly and 24d. Got a decent kill but there’s one woodier type broadleaf plant that seems to have survived. Got burnt a little but certainly not nuked like I’d hoped. Anyone know of another good broadleaf killer that I could try?

Also what is a good broadleaf herbicide for spraying in gly resistant beans? The farmer I got the seeds from mumbled something about dicamba and I’ve heard of that but never used it.

For the woodier species we mix remedy with 2, 4-d or you can buy crossbow which is a mix of the two. I would be careful with dicamba. I'm not sure what the conditions were, but I have seen more drift damage from it this year than the last several combined in my area.

No I don’t yet have that ability. There are various farmers nearby that could but getting them to spend a few minutes in my 2 acre plot is next to impossible. I hope to have that ability sooner rather than later. It would eliminate a lot of headache
Ok.... the tillage will take care of the woody weed then.

On beans- if they are not enlist tolerant & only gly…. U can look at (I’ll just list brand names I have saved in my phone): classic, flexstar, raptor, varisto, synchrony xp & a few others. In any case, need to hit those weeds when smaller - especially things like dogbane or woody stem type things. Next year- get enlist beans & u got 3 great post emergents u can hit with: gly, liberty & enlist. ***before planting beans: Adding a pre emergent with post cocktail sprayed before you plant will save u a pile of headaches later too!!!

On your plots you are burning down…. This year tillage be way more forgiving as we have so much moisture. Plus, getting later in game, when you spray 2,4-d, you gonna have a planting interval of generally around 7 days-ish or wait for a rain & then when dry - go. What I personally did/do on burn downs when I was starting & had lots of weeds but I wanted them done right…. I’d burn down with gly, 2,4-d, a few weeks before planting. wait for a rain & then…. it dried out I just waited til more weeds to come in…. Hit with gly again to smoke new flush came in and planted the same day.

Burn down and plant is my goal so I can stop this tilling crap. But that’s what I’ve got for the time being. Appreciate the response. That’s what I was looking for
