Whitetail Buck Genetic Variations

This questions is in regards to variations in quality or characteristics of buck genetics and how they vary across short geographic distances. What I am wondering is this. Do you notice large differences in buck genetics as you go from the me county to a neighboring county? (Not jumping multiple counties)

On a smaller scale, do you notice differences in buck genetics from one spot in a county to another spot in the same county?

Good ? !!! I notice differences in small areas. Like- say 15 miles away. I can just show gazillions of examples of characteristics that been on my farm or xyz area for decades. Very unique things that u know its same gens. Maybe it’s super long G3’s & small g2’s. Maybe some areas have abnormally high amounts of bucks with big brow tines. I’ve got some 10 points that look almost identical that are 10+ years apart. So many things where you are like “oh ya, that genetic trait is engrained in this area”.

Then u see regions where it’s like “why are most deer 8 points?” By far higher margins. Maybe that’s nutrition too. On the nutrition or maybe genetic front - I’ve seen some regions where guys can’t get deer past about 160-170”. A lot of times it’s nutrition in those examples though. Or the regions where you don’t ever see Non typicals but tons of giant typicals. Or vice versa. Any time I look at any area- I personally pay really close attention what the 2 & 3 year olds look like
