Burn down timing

When is the best time to do the final chemical burn for next year's switch planting? I'm also planning on doing one prior to planting in the spring. This is mostly pasture grasses now with one burn in. Thanks in advance!

I had good luck in the past spraying in the fall as mentioned above. I would plant during winter if possible even if broadcast spreading. Then I would spray again after cool season weeds emerge and before the switch germinates. The spring spraying is very effective. Good Luck.

I have a patch that has some switch and other warm season in it but infested with brome.

What's the thoughts on trying to clean up the cools season grasses and over seeding vs a complete do-over? I do have a jug of Simazine. (and plenty of 41% lol)

For me, it would be decided by how large your area of switch is and how dirty it is. I kinda like mine patchy and not perfectly thick anyways.

Same as above. October or November when warm. Make sure switch is dormant. No need to start over.
