I do agree that if the gun charge was truly derived from that ^^ reported interaction, it is bogus. But...I cannot be the least bit certain that this is how things truly went down. I don't have the facts to say one way or the other, but there is enough subterfuge and deception associated with this cat for me not to give him the benefit of the doubt in terms of what really happened.

That story could just be what he presented as an explanation of the event...it may not be what actually happened. I would say that we really don't know how that transpired. I would be curious to get the input from the law enforcement involved prior to making a determination.

There are always two sides to the story but if this is actually what happened and he was cited for that, that is BS in my opinion. The officer easily could have said, "Hey, I see you put your gun in the vehicle and I appreciate you setting that there while we talked but before you go, I'm going to watch you unload it so you can drive home legally."

I would imagine that "gun charge" was considered when the judge was reviewing his case on whether he could stay or not.

When people go into this type of excruciating detail it is likely they are trying to string a story together.
 
This whole thing is crazy. Seems like a total conman. This guys a total liar and thief. He took away the opportunity from a very deserving person. I will say its been entertaining to follow and read about it and peoples comments on facebook.

My biggest question is how did this even happen. Who is in charge of hiring, what did they know that they let slide, who ran the background check, what all does a background check cover? I mean this guy just made up bogus degrees etc and it was just taken as his word, nobody actually verified? Someone/someones need to be held accountable IMO for the hiring.

I really hope once all is said and done that everyone gets the full story. I feel like this is going to be on a t.v. show at some point. It would be a must watch.
