Pheasant opener

Went out this morning for pheasant opener, had 8 guys and 2 kids, had our limit by noon. Only hunted one spot, it’s a 160 that’s all CRP. Great mix of Forbs and grasses and the birds didn’t disappoint.

Mostly labs, one guy had an old short hair that didn’t do a whole lot. We had 6 dogs in total.

Greene county. That’s where I grew up, have access to some really good ground there. Seems like even on the “down” years I have some pretty good hunting.

I did see 17 in one bunch after doing hay super late. Guess haying late I avoided hitting nests?
