Retrieving game law

I think the law is mostly fine as it is.

Ill say this..... if the Iowa game retrieval law was ever challenged in courts id about guarentee it wouldnt hold up. Its a law that allows a complete stranger to access someone else's private property. Not law enforcement... a civilian. No chance that holds up imo.

Your last comment is ridiculous. Asking that a hunter contact me about a possible dead deer on my land, asks permission to retrieve, shows me the trail, and me giving the go ahead equates to political affiliation and insult. lol. BTW I’m Gen

People that know me, know I could care less about people’s political views because everyone values things differently in life. That being said those same people know I like to stir the pot and get people going. Don’t worry I was also bamboozled by our president.

Definitely some things that aren’t great about our retrieval laws.. It is PRO HUNTER in general tho! Things could be worse!! Most of us are lucky the majority of our neighbors are fellow hunters or farmers! Things get a lot more interesting east of the Mississippi when it’s a 50/50 chance the adjoining landowner is an anti.
