    Early spring?

They are really bad this year. I've already had 4 tick bites just doing yard work, very small and undetectable until the itching starts. Guess I'll have to treat all my cloths with Sawyers!

What are your top stand enhancements?

I agree, the best thing is having quiet cover to access my stands and play the wind with stand locations. Don't over hunt, timing is everything. I don't use scents but do make mock scrapes, location is key like fence rows, trails and field edges with over-hanging pine branches. The only scent I...

    Spots in March

Driving home today from running an errand this morning there was a spot dead at the side of the road. Still had half its spots!

    Walnut

Any good options for a portable mill that doesn't cost an arm and a leg for novice wood working? My son and I have been wanting one for a while.

    PA Pheasant Hunt

Unfortunately, back until the early 90's we still had a good population. Nothing like the 60's through the 80's when they were very abundant. Now they are mostly stocked birds though there are a very few areas that still have wild birds. Dang, I miss those days!

    PA Pheasant Hunt

My nephew went on a pheasant and chucker hunt on a private property recently and had a blast. I wasn't invited. :( Love the pic of the old vehicle used for the photos!

    Walnut

I have a huge walnut tree that I always wondered if it could be used for veneer. The trunk must be 10' or more in circumference, but the main branches start about 6' above the trunk. Any thoughts on that?

    Old Pistol

I've been trying to identify this pistol but couldn't find information detailing the exact one. Any vintage experts out there?

    Spots in March

I've seen this once in my hunting career. Usually, they don't survive harsh winters.

    Welder I think I’m gonna buy… Miller 255 -

That's a crazy price for a welding helmet unless you're a pro and weld a lot. I have a MIG and bought a hundred dollar one at TSC and it works well for me since I don't weld very often.

    Who is shed hunting?!

Haven't had time to shed hunt yet but planning on going out today. I just got permission to shed hunt a farm I used to hunt for 18 years until the landowner passed away and her daughter wouldn't allow anymore hunting. That was 2011. I stopped by to ask her and offered her some help keeping...
