Fox, straight tail, not bushy

This red fox has been regular all spring, never saw one without a bushy tail. Seems extra-long too. Anyone ever see this before?

Summer coat. It does look longer than normal but I’d bet the tail would look more normal in the winter.

I am not a fox expert, but I think this is correct. I have seen a couple similar to this over the years, but I am not sure then if I saw the same fox more than once or the fox change seasonally.

Fox mated with a cougar.
I wish we had more fox here. So cool. Coyotes wiped most of them out.

There are a lot of fox around, this is the only one with a skinny tail?

All red fox have that tail here this time of year.
Seen one today in the ditch. Had that exact same look.

Got a coyote also with a .22lr.
