How are the MDC's other trees quality wise? I've ordered from Iowa's and their quality is great but MDC has even more options. Cheap too if the website is accurate

I have had good luck with them, pretty darn good trees.

The specimens I planted two years ago, which I purchased from the MDC, are all still alive and thriving in spite of last year's drought.

I'd have to go back to be certain, but they're around 12-14 I think.

They've had acorns for quite a few years now.

I failed to get pics the other day, but about half the seedlings I planted are now over 4'tall and loaded with big leaves. Caged them last weekend.

I have a perfect spot for some. Maybe I can come with some acorns or maybe some trees next year.

Snapped couple pics. These were 12-18" tall when I planted this spring. Leaves are rolled up probably because I left tubes on too long.
Added a pic of pitch-lobblolly pine for fun.

Have a little over an acre of bean field I'm converting over. Going to plant all these sporadically in rows and then native grasses in between rows. Seems like it will work on paper. Some of the conifers are going elsewhere
