Rare Concordia Oaks Available Soon!!

Planted couple 3-4 weeks ago. Most of them have popped like this one, others are swelled and close.

Planted 500 of them recently. Stock looked good. I purchased seedlings from Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, and Virginia. MDC packaged there plants far better than the rest. They were wrapped in wax paper and packed with wet mulch. Very impressed!

IA conifers were far superior than the MDC in my opinion, but MDC Oaks and shrubs were better. MDC is cents on the dollar cost too

Agree with that. Was able to save a bunch through mdc. I did not recieve any conifers from them either.

Did recieve cedars from ia that were very vigorant however they were sealed in a plastic bag, did not care for the storage. Had to open each 1 and wet down to store .

Concordia acorns (marked in yellow) are starting to pop that were collected last fall. These are from a yard tree next to an alba so it could produce an interesting cross. The concordia in the yard is 4-5 different grafts of Concordia's from my farm attached to swamp white oak rootstock.
