Shooting him because he has a broken leg is a cop out. He's lived this long. It's always a chance but if your goal is 5.5 then pass him. He sure bounced back great!!
This is what we call the herd doe genetics. A buck will get his antler make-up from his mother. She gets it from here maternal father. We see it in captive deer. Herd does that carry the super genetics are the key to produce some mega giants. That's why when doe management lingo gets thrown...
Good call. You still have time to go back and apply 24D if you need to. But no matter how much you use there is residual in 24D. You still have a lot of time here to get brassicas in.

The back tracking is also a tale tell sign it wasn't legit. You can shout from the roof tops "HEY EVERYBODY I KILLED THE WORLD RECORD" and then when people start to question...
Mitch's reputation is all you need to know. Constant lies upon lies. From walking around with a farm shed telling people it was a wild to not having the deer entered. I don't believe it for a second.

That being said, I think only if you own land should you get a LOT tag. Not if your mommy and daddy bought the land.. or grandma and grandpa. Only the land owner should...
