    Look and see if the roots r severed. Would b caused by freezing ground pushing up and that is what pulls the roots apart.

    As someone who has been through a hog barn fire. Start carrying a pocket note pad and writing things down that comes to mind that r damaged or lost. You will be surprised how much comes to mind even weeks latter.

    ? First. When using it are you inserting EACH spade a little at a time? If that doesn't work yes you can put a little edge on the shovels. If that doesn't work your going need to wait for softer ground conditions.

    With new planted trees b very careful with the fertilizer you can burn the new tender roots.

    5.7 is low Put pellet line on to get through this year and line according to what is recommended and that will get you where you need to b.

    Found a small set in the bottom of the grain auger tub. Not uncommon for us to see them up by the grain setup in the winter time but never in this location. Cold winter and they got hungry.

    I would definitely do a variety, say pick at least 3 different ones. So down the road if you have a problem you lesson your risk
