My son and I each shot does with mine this year and they did not go far. Like others have said we did not get much for a blod trail though. Might try a higher shoulder shot next time, but maybe it was just that I am used to 12ga holes instead of little pencil sized holes.

Those camera guys are another set of eyes and a lot of times you see them give the hunter a heads up when something is coming . . . . Not that I want the camera guys to get in trouble, but . . .

Went out last night for a couple hours to try and call in a dog or two. It was dead out right up to the time when I was closing the door on the truck after packing up. They started yipping and howling like they were rubbing it in. Dang things.

You know when you're in your man cave you will tell the guys the story about that nice 145" 10pt over there in about 3 min. The story on this one will take a lot longer and they will tell how much more it means to you. Good job man, I wish I had history with one like that.

This has been an uneventful season so far. Even my trail cams are not seeing much. The most excitement I've had was a three legged coyote. Typical bowhunting though I guess. Hours of boredom for a few minutes of action . . .

Ugly goofy or cool goofy? I would try to get rid of the ugly goofy somehow. Cool goofy is a tougher decision.
