    RRV Soil.

Was so wet here this planting season, some could not get crops planted. This pic is a field right next to me that gat PP'd. No such thing as a rock" let alone" a pebble round here. Miles n miles of pure BLACK Dirt.

    What's next for Republicans?

I vote R. That being said...., I'm SO happy I don't follow this political shit show.

    Turnip Plot Advice

Judging from the pics, enought soil exposed to broadcast brassicas. Getting fertilizer incorporated is a concern though. I'm in northern MN so my dates are tighter. Depending on where you are, you still may have time to apply fertilizer, dig it in, wait a couple weeks, spray n plant. Brassicas...

    Camo clothing

Lol Ishi. Quite sure that's EXACTLY how people think buying that. 83. A HUGE majority of bowhunters can get by on a good underlayment, a Walmart special hoodie/ sweat pants and a 20$ bug suit and kill every deer that comes by. Quality clothing is overated unless sitting in cold climes...

    Shop Remodel

I've installed 1000s of board feet of that. Real nice to work with as long as it's straight.

    Anonymous pic thread???

Fun to see what others are seeing but yeah, ain't no way I'd post a pic of a monster. Not much is anonymous on the Web.

    Camo clothing

What's your choice? I find it mind blowing what people spend on certain camos. Personally, I think it way overated. Gonna stir some feathers here but for your basic everyday bowhunts, nothing blends in as well as a 20$ bug suit. Lol. Slip it over anything and they just blend in. This...

    Random ramblings.

Mini, I've been planting clover plots for about 15 years and have always frost seeded. We have very rich soil here so that helps. They usually always do real well but they seem to do best in small plots that are not in full sun all day. Thanks

    Sugar beets

New farmer. I've never planted them but family and friends do. Beets go in the ground early. Like late april_ mid May. They take along time to mature. Sugarbeets grow mostly underground with just the top inch of 2 exposed(unlike a turnip) so for them to be beneficial, they would need to be dug...

    Sugar beets

Sure would!. Unfortunately, ditches here have to be mowed. Super flat country and if they have vegetation, they catch the snow during blizzards.

    Sugar beets

Not sure how hard it is to get RRBeet seeds but do know they are super expen$ive.

    Sugar beets

if you are buying a brassica blend that have SB in the mix and plan on planting them in late july/ August, don't buy it!! Lol. Total waste of $$.

    Sugar beets

For those that have never seen what they look like, I took a few pics today. This is right by my cabin. If it weren't for them, our deer herd would be almost non existing. Need to explain this and how important they are. I'm about 1.5 miles from the Red River that splits Mn from ND. 100% ag...

    Random ramblings.

Well thanks Skip!. 15 years I've spent manipulating this ground. True labor of Love. I wish I would have taken better care of the Buckthorn/ prickly ash years ago. However, the deer love bedding in it.

    Random ramblings.

Few plots fertilizelized, dug up,repacked and ready for brassicas in a couple weeks. Clover, I planted this spring. Hardly a weed in it. Couple perennial treestands shots. The one of the closer ladderstands in the big oak is RIGHT at the top or a steep riverbank. It sits between 2 bedding...

    Brassicas

I've jumped the gun on Brassicas too many times. Rather plant 2 weeks later then 2 weeks early.

    Clover

Question about Clovers. Is there anyone (that you know of) that has planted clovers of different varieties in strip alongside each other (apples to apples) to see what deer gravitate towards? For years I've planted straight Ladino and the deer love it.
