There's only a couple. Mostly all burr oak with a small handful of black oak.

I originally thought this was a pin oak but now I'm not sure. The leaves on the outer branches look like pin leaves but as you get closer to the trunk the leaves are fatter. I'm going to plant some of the acorns regardless because the turkeys seem to love this tree.

If it's just around the edges, could be soybean gall midge. Newer pest that can be pretty rough. Worst on field edges.

I havent bought tags in person in a long time. They charge a convenience fee(for shipping). They mail them a couple weeks after you buy them online. Then you make sure to get exactly the tags you want.

What about offering a premium on top of crp for allowing public hunting? It seems like South Dakota has ground that is private but has public access. Maybe they do something like that.
