    Welter seed brassica mix

Too new to tell (first year for it) and the drought at my normal planting time was a flop so I am at least 14 months from having an opinion on it. Not their new big buck brassica mix, but their big buck annual mix has worked great for me over the years. I have become a big fan of the forage...

    Muzzy Gun

The bolt guns can handle a much more stout load in a much heavier barrel, such as the example above. That's not "safely" happening out of a smokelss TC.

    Muzzy Gun

I do agree with asking "why" do I need that much gun? Compare it to your bow. Most of my stands are set up for shot under 20 yards. Most of my bow kills are deer that were under 20 yards. But, I shot a couple at over 20 yards. A bow kill at 40 yards is almost the same as comparing a gun...

    SC Iowa- ELK on Camera!!!!

I'm with you on that one. You won't see me taking a shot at an Iowa elk without specific written permission for it. Moose either. It is very well written what the law and fines are so free pass from me.

    Muzzy Gun

Pro Hunter, or Pro Hunter FX? Pretty sure the FX has its limits, but the non FX does not. As a matter of fact, it is an Encore Pro Hunter.

    Muzzy Gun

$3,500 is turn key with lots of options. It is built off of the new Remington Ultimate 700. That alone is $700+. Brake, die, scope base, aftermarket trigger "options" are included. So are quite a few of the accessories that you will want, all included in that price. Keep in mind you are...

    What do you shoot?

    1. Make sure you are waiting several minutes between shots. Sabots in warmed up barrels are prone to less than stellar groups. 2. Throw a different scope on there or move and test this scope to a different gun to confirm it's not a bad scope. The best scopes can fail and it is frustrating when...

More times than you would think is possible. This one freaked me out a little at first. Then I laughed. Then I started scratching my head.

    Smokeless muzzleloaders I

Yes, that is the reason I would go with a .45 cal GUN (not bullet)! Shooting .40 or .357 or other single projectile bullets in them with sabots is a legal option with them. I have taken more than one with Barnes .40 195 grain using sabots. I guess I should have added that .40 or other sub cal...

    Smokeless muzzleloaders I

My opinion, you will be glad you quit smoking and wishing you had done it sooner. Which option depends on what you are after. I like the 700 SA centerfire action or the 700 ML action because there are fewer load limitations compared to most other builds and their are countless options for...

HSB 175 increase in hunting/furharvesting fees

The way I read it the landowner can hunt all seasons. The piece that says you can fill tags in two seasons is because there are two tags to fill. One can be filled in one season and the other on another.
