You will like the smart wool bonker. I have a tops and bottoms. They keep you warm in the cold and cool in the warm. They also don't stink after you where them a few times.
I'm with ya on that. I will keep the wind at my advantage...not the deer's. I have certain stands that are set up better to call out of. They have a pond or creek or deep ditch that will hopefully discourage a buck from crossing to get down wind of me when I call.
This is me.....I get a little less worried about it every year. I still wash in scent free soap and store everything in totes, but beyond that I don't get too crazy. I see the same amount of deer every year regardless. It's all about the wind and thermals for me. A guy could drive himself...
X2 on canning. I started doing this a couple years ago. Now that's almost all I do besides making some jerky. So tender and you can make a bunch of different meals with it.
I am selling my Sitka gear. I have a Fanatic Coat (2XL) and a pair of Stratus Bibs (2XL). I wore them two seasons and they are in great condition. They are an awesome setup for bow hunters. I am asking $300 total for the coat and jacket.
PM Me with any questions. I am located in Ankeny...
I have never had an issue with the old whitetail optifade pattern. On a side note, if you are a public servant, LE, Military, teacher, etc sign up for an account on leo adventures. You get big discounts on all Sitka gear.
