Thanks Boyd for the great deal you gave me on the trailcam! Got it set up today and love getting the texts about every 2-3 minutes! I will definitely be stopping at Buck Hollow this fall!
I know not midwest fishing but got the opportunity from one my vendors at work to go on a chartered fishing trip in the gulf....couldn't turn down a free trip! Also brought home about 20lbs of red snapper and Grouper.
Those prices seem a little high to me but its been quite awhile since I have actually purchases any ag chemicals...one of the few advantages of working at a chemical manufacturer I guess.
Dang!!! I would have went last night just for the Decal, this is the first time in like 12 years I haven't had one of those decals on my vehicle.
I'll be there today at opening 9am.
I had A $5 giftcard at northern tool and waited until the 16 x 20' tarps went on sale for $9.99. That was.plenty big and actually had a lot leftover. I used fencing steeples to nail. the panel to the frame, don't mess with the cheap ones though get red brand steeples.
I was in it once in 50mph gusts this fall and I didn't think in a million years it would roll, but I was wrong. My first instinct when I didn't see it on the ridge was that it was stolen.
Well after the weekend I have concluded that there must have been a heavy south wind in the last 3 weeks. My bale blind took about 150yd roll. It is unharmed however! May look at anchoring it down if I'm going to keep it on hilltops.
When you get close to the blind you can tell that some of the straw matting has come loose and blown away. And I expected that probably just add another layer in a couple years as it is inexpensive. Yes the zip ties make it more quiet in my opinion.
Stickers, Its pretty heavy, I've got it set up with an I bolt so I can drag it around easily with a 4 wheeler. I have drug it by hand about 30yds just to reposition it but probably wouldn't go much further than that as it weighs approximately 150lbs. The windows and doors are hinged with heavy...
I looked at articular shield last year! Maybe make that purchase this year. I'm hoping with this weight loss I don't sweat as much in the early season especially when putting up my lone wolf!
Well I set out to lose 20lbs for my New Years Resolution and have already lost almost 30. I think I'm gonna need new bow hunting gear any recommendations?
Chasing Game and Trail Camera Pro give the Scoutguard SG560C awesome reviews, say besides the mediocre trigger speeds it would rank with or higher than Reconyx, neither mention anything about washed out photos. This model was new in late 2012.
I would like a Reconyx but don't want to spend that kind of money. I was reading a review on the Scoutgaurd SG560C and it appears to be one of the better cams under $200. I loved my S600 until it quit took awesome pics!
