    Shotgunners - THINK FIRST

If this is the case you should report them. You can remain anonynous. If you don't you are just as bad as they are. The shotgun groups I know around here tag and report everything.

    Shotgunners - THINK FIRST

So I have been following along with this thread... Here is my situation, I am thinking first. My first thought is that my meat stick and summer sausage freezer is empty. Thats a big problem. So I know that I need to fill it. I would love to fill it with a mature buck, but I have only...

    Deer population

Who are the greedy ones? The farmers or the hunters? I for the life of me can't figure out this sence of entitlement that comes from hunters, especially bow hunters. The same farmers you are calling greedy are the ones that let you hunt and ask for basically nothing but a 30 pack in return...

    Help!

Maybe I am missreading your post, but he asked if he could hunt with you. I assume that means WITH you and only when you are in there as well. If he is going in there when you aren't there, you gave him permission to hunt your unkles land when it should have been your unkle to give the...

    Shotgunners?

It was a great season around here, plenty of deer. Less than 5-6 years ago but not by much and more than the past 2-3 years. A few of the larger groups even tagged out. We shot 8 deer out of 10 tags. One mature buck that won't score too well. One young buck that scored about 150 give or take an...

Aaron Grimes did my last two, he's a good guy and does a nice job. Plus he lives about 2 miles from me, so that was a plus as well.

    Need opinions! mad as heck!

Leave the landowners out of it, unless you are friends with them. And I mean freinds, like the land owner considers YOU a friend, you hang out and have conversations about more stuff than getting permission to hunt. Landowners owe nothing to you, and trust me the last thing 99% of landowners...

    Every year

I think you also need to chip your own arrowheads from stone and whittle you own sticks from hedge. And if you really want to get down to it string your own recurve with the guts of a deer that you stabbed with a spear made from your own larger chipped arrow heads and larger stick from said hedge.

    Sad

I figured I would get jumped on since I am sympathetic with farmers and that was my first post and all. Thats understandable. For the record I don't plow up ever piece of ground, and cut down every tree. All I am saying it that its a free country and you are free to buy a piece of ground and...

    Sad

It is sad when a guy makes a major investment then tries to make some money back off that investment and get blasted for it. Its really simple, if you don't like to see the trees grubbed out then go to the bank, get yourself a loan and buy the land and you can do what ever you want with it...
