Missouri has it right. You don't have to have a tag on the deer as long as your tag is notched. So, don't forget your pocket knife or gutting knife while hunting mo!

Not nearly as scary as Ebola in the US! CWD does suck, and hope it doesn't spread to the wild herd, but herds of mule deer, elk and whitetail out west have been dealing with it for quite some time, and still have healthy populations, although they are more spread out over a bigger area.

I'd just get rid of it and get a .22.........

If your paying taxes on the ground, then I would say you are entitled to a landowner tag. Just my opinion I guess, but if you own the ground, but have no income from the ground, it shouldn't matter one bit if you are the one that made the investment and pay the taxes.

Since I'll be hunting mostly where my dad hunts, I can say with confidence, that almost all the stands are 16 foot, besides the few lock on's I have around, which are around 20 foot. All the 16 foot stands are ladder stands, and my lock ons have 20 foot ladder sticks.

Got all the stand hung about 3 weeks ago. Bow season started today. Won't be able to hunt till the weekend though, have a few nice ones coming in, plus a bunch of pork chops. Going to see what I can do!
