Have you heard a buck roar??

I've heard them roar on a couple different occasions with Sunday morning being one of them. It's definitely a sound you don't hear often in the woods.

    Fur prices

Good ole Grony. I've never ever heard of them not paying 40 dollars for 1 coon out of a group.

Which State will be the 1st to move it's gun season out???

Your only allowed 1 buck during the mo rifle season. No party hunting, your tag, only you are allowed to use it. I know your stance on seasons, but what if rifle only hunters, such as my grandpa, be forced to hunt outside of the rut, when he loves hunting the rut?

    trapping

I will. Have some problem beavers the land owner wants gone, although I usually like waiting for beaver. I have lots of rats spotted, but I'll give it a few weeks then get after them. As far as coons, I usually throw a few sets in between my house and work and check them on the way to work.

    afton area locker?

If distance is a factor, Zebs is a lot closer than ridgeway. Both places make awesome sticks, salami, pretty much anything you want.

    afton area locker?

In my opinion, Corning locker is the best around for butchering a hog or a steer. But your going to be disappointed in their deer sticks.

    afton area locker?

Just as well take it to Zeb's smokehouse in Bedford. A little bit of a drive from Creston, but definitely worth it. Or you have Ridgeway MO, they have great stuff as well. If your just wanting it processed, Corning locker is your best bet.
