I don't know a dang thing about catfish so I wouldnt even begin to make a guess, but when you say there are probably counties where big flatties are almost non-existent, I would think one could make the same argument for 160"+ bucks in some counties.

Completely agree..not to mention I find the Millennium stands to be a little loud. If you "cam lock" a LW stand after you hang it, its the most solid stand I've ever stood on.

And are all the dovetail mounts universal? For instance, the site I was looking at ordering the scope and rings from doesnt have the Burris double dovetail mounts, but they have the Leupold ones.

So I'm looking at different bases and mounts, and I like the idea of the Burris Signature rings, but can someone fill me in on Dovetail mounts vs regular Weaver bases and Zee rings?
