    New bucks showing up

I have these two that moved in early Oct, never seen them before that and only have night time pics. I'm not even sure the last two pics are the same buck, hard to tell from these poor quality pics. They both look mature, what's your guess on scores?

    Homemade Hay Bale Blinds

I built a 4' x 8' base from treated 2x6s and a full sheet of plywood, both sides are also plywood. This thing is right at 6ft tall and heavy but that's OK for our situation, won't need to move it and it'll be able to hold some heat for the really cold days. 2x4s running horizontally between the...

Roundup Ready Corn & Soybean Food Plot

I got some left-over corn planted this spring and I'm not exactly sure if it's RR or Liberty. I sprayed w/ atrizine but I still have cocklebur, waterhemp and ragweed coming through. Will 2-4D do the job or what cocktail should I use?

    Apple/Pear Trees

Please elaborate, are you saying I should pluck off any apple buds on my small newly planted trees to promote growth instead? Seems like a great point for the first several years, I have only 8 trees for now so thats manageable.

    Apple/Pear Trees

This is my first batch so I'll be experimenting as I go. As Skip said likely will need to expand the cages in the future, these are located in one of the highest deer concentrations on my property. Skip, Thanks for all your input. I get a lot of ideas that are posted here

    Final turkey as a youth

Thank God he's hooked for now, the potential issues I see in the future are baseball and girls.... :D I kinda expect he'll want to kill one on his own, that'll give me some time to hunt w/ my youngest. Thanks!

    Final turkey as a youth

My oldest son is 15 and was able to kill this turkey in northern mo. Sunday on state ground. We didnt hear anything close on the roost and was thinking about going after some that we heard in the distance. We had the video cam, decoys etc and just generally concerned about stalking on public so...

I received my apple trees from Stark Bros couple weeks ago also. I kept 'em in the original box and just added a little water to the roots until I was ready to plant which was this past weekend. I got 2 of each, Gold Rush, Arkansas Black, Enterprise and Jonafree. Spacing is 13ft, I dug an...

    Illuminated nock recommdations

What don't you like about them? I shoot both and have no issues. When I practice I always have one arrow with one of these nocks and a rage practice head and I cannot tell any difference. Just curious thanks

I know what you mean, couldn't believe how much they've scratched through acres of woods. They're cleaning up on the acorns I guess. My corn and beans are gone
