Convinced this one to check out the decoy spread this morning. He was playing hard to get at 50 yards for quite a while in a timber pocket but eventually couldn't resist and showed himself. He saw the strutter decoy and did the beard swinging death run at it but stopped and went into strut at 20 yards. He paced a few times and decided he didn't want anything to do with the deke and turned and started to walk away. I was able to get an arrow in him at 30 yards and he scrambled back to the timber. After a short search I found that the grim reaper (only great things to say about them) did its job and a tag was filled. Decent sized bird. Congrats to all those that have tagged and good luck to those still trying. Thanks to those who share.
