This is why we can't have nice things...

I would think he would die myself. Guts should be hamburger. When a bullet hits, there is so much shock it rips a lot of internal parts outside of the wound channel. A lot different than an arrow zipping through. That sucks bad!!

    Sighting in Muzzeloader..Confused

You guys probably won't believe this but I shot my old knight SS 45 cal with BH 209 and left it with a dirty barrel until around the middle of January and the barrel was all pitted up to the point, I just sold it. There were no pits in it before the season. I question how corrosive this stuff...

The Dreaded "Fourwheelers and Pressure" Thread

The day or two after my dad got stents in his heart he drove his atv pretty much to the base of his tree on opening evening of late muzz. He wasn't supposed to be out there but ended up shooting a 190 about 45 minutes later. I recall getting like 13 missed calls from him and when I saw that I...

    Question about gun vs. muzzleloader

Late muzz is great if you have a food source they are hitting. If not, it is a waste of time.

    Help needed

If only 6 inches of arrow is sticking out he should be dead I would think. Round up the crew and find him in the morning.

I would pay a $1000 to never have cold feet again. :)

    Heated insoles?

The mickey mouse boots were always good but suck on walks over a mile long. I just slip on artic shield boot covers now if it is cold. Just have to put them on right away.

    primos ground blinds

I personally think the Rhino xp-1 is a better deer hunting blind while the double bulls are better turkey hunting blind. I like the smaller side windows of the rhino as they are the proper height. The double bull ones have a couple low ones on one side that are a killer to shoot through out of a...

    Life line question

I would attach to a separate tree strap vs solely lifeline. When you start moving around you can get the whole length of rope moving against the tree. Deer don't like that.

    Buck movenet

A guy posted a pic of a buck breeding a doe in a different state on like the 9th or 10th. Had a whole series of it on his trail cam. Looked like a pretty big doe.

Confidence Killer (story of last season)

What you need is a good buddy to give you a good hat slap. Whenever one of us would do something stupid like that, we would get a good hat slap from a buddy across the hat kind of like, don't do that again but then you laugh it off. I have gotten a few hat slaps in my day. It's just hunting man...

    Moment of truth

That is strange. I feel the opposite, seems like adrenaline makes the bow feel like a kids toy. Maybe better things are to come. Keep at it!
