Nice Mike. I wonder how big those bdc circles would be on a deer at 250 yds. I like how leupold ultimateslam has dots and they get smaller for longer yardages.
I prefer the Weaver picatinny base and like Burris zee rings. The picatinny base allows for a lot more adjustment for eye relief. That action is drilled a long ways apart and a lot of shotgun scopes don't allow for much barrel adjustment. As flat as that gun shoots I see no need for bdc reticals.

I see no advantage to the wifi other than not physically not having to plug it in. If anyone is interested in the $20 adapter...
I'm fine with a year but if it was more and I wasn't told that was a possibility then I'd be pissed. If he/she has a problem (health issue, whatever) then it is their responsibility to contact you and inform you of the delay.
I'd make a phone call ASAP and see what they say. Can't hurt.
The angle eyepiece still works fine in a truck. You have the ability to turn it so the eyepiece would curve in towards you instead of up. Vortex makes great stuff...
No landowner tags come off quota.
Skip does he shotgun hunt? Some guys like to save their Anysex landowner tag for shotgun because it's good for 1st & 2nd shotgun. He'll have 3 landowner doe tags for whatever season he wants too. That will cover shooting a few does late.
The CVA is a small compact gun with a short LOP. The T/C Impact is also good for youth/women. It has a spacer that can be taken out of the stock for a shorter LOP...
I agree keep an open mind and do your homework. Maybe lay off when the pressure is on the first week of Nov. Then get back after it later. Know plenty of guys doing this with good success.
