Exactly my point. All that due to a dog owner likely being irresponsible. The rules need changing. A law stating a dog causing damage or danger to livestock or property can be shot is to ambiguous. Dogs miles from home on a regular basis are a product of the dogs owner being disrespectful and...
Dogs are a real problem that needs to he addressed. Hunting or not they run all over and people do nothing about it. Posts constantly about dogs missing online. In our county there is no leash law and we have been told if they are causing damage you have the right to shoot. This isn't the...
Cuddelink is the most affordable for sure. You have to be able to accept the limitations of that system to be happy with them though. I have had a handful of guys over the years purchase a system after using traditional cellular cams and not been happy in the end

I used to sell this and it was a good blend, especially if you like chicory. The one complaint I had was that the chicory took over and was to big a part of the blend. I have since switched to Grandpa Rays out of Wisconsin. I have to look back at which blends I used personally but seclusion 360...
I have a Truax, its the flex 88 3 pt and there is 0% chance a 40 hp tractor can lift it. I have a 75 hp and its all it can handle. I would say the 6'GP will have the same issue.

My experience is timely cutting is number one when it comes to how desirable alfalfa is. Stemmy old alfalfa doesn't get much attention. Once it blossoms it goes downhill fast.

Dairyland seed makes some really good hybrid alfalfa varieties. Stem thickness changes with each crop. 1st is always fairly heavy stemmed and by 4th it's very fine. We always try and get our 1st off early. Not sure if your harvesting it or if it's for grazing.

The solar panels also have the option to add a second internal battery for longer cloudy spells. I have cameras on solar and 4 internal D camera batteries still going strong from this summer

If you don't use a cellular home it's card pull only. If you do choose a cellular home you have to have an active cell plan on that camera for it to function. They have gone to all D batteries with external power packs and solar. They do make a 12v cord so you can run off of a battery. Great...
A small tractor that size limits what you can do. I wouldn't plow every year, but I also wouldn't disc. Repeated discing is not ideal. Field cultivators do a much better job on weed control. So many variables

I would get a plow, field cultivator, cultipacker besides what you have. All can be found fairly reasonable. I have a nice 3 pt disc and I hardly ever use it.

Cell cams are nice but I have never had one put me in a stand based on pictures from that day. Not one time. If I was to choose one item to kill a big mature buck at any given time I would take an enclosed blind on a good foodplot. That kills far more deer than cell cams ever will.

We sell saws after a year or so often we can have a good variety around for sale. We run both Husky and Stihl in all sizes. Might go to selling the top handle saws yearly
