I just ordered some of both, and found out after that applying the boost would be a waste at this point on Brassica plots. But, using the Starter might give be a short benefit on my rye plots till 1st frost, which could be any time.
He recomended applying these within two weeks of planting, or...
Plot starter. I was looking into this as it would be alot easier to apply then Ag Lime. And you don't have the exspense of a high dollar spreader.

I clipped my temporary oat / berseem clover plot about 3 weeks ago, I have had great success with the clover in there.
Question is when I go to cereal grain plot in about 3 weeks should I spray the clover a week before or just till it before planting?

Just wondering what others are doing when you go from winter rye to Brassicas or from spring oats to winter rye.
I have a 72" King cutter tiller (brand new last year) with 45 hp tractor.
My procedure has been to spray the spring oats or winter rye then mow it down then a week or two later start...
I think you are going to want to be above the rye or you will not get everything sprayed.
I have an extension on my setup that allows me to raise the height above Rye.
I sprayed mine yesterday! I used this method last year and had good success.

If already have a rye plot about to head out. Wondering if I wanted to replant it again can I just leave it alone, let it drop it seeds and then drill in the rest of the mix (clover, ghr)

So My prices were right on those two herbicides.
What she messed up on was the Quantity I had to buy. I had to buy a whole case which has (8) 3 Lb jugs. I can not return.
I would like to get rid of (6) 3 Lb jugs if anyone needs any Would sell for the 64.96 each plus maybe 10.00...
Tree planting of oaks several years old, Part of it with back pack sprayer and part of it with tractor 55 gal spray rig.
Then I have some red cedars I want to spray around with back pack sprayer. 1 year old planting, and then will be planting 50 new one this year.

Going back through threads on herbicides amount I have seen the formula change here and there. Just wondering which one I should follow?
Oust is used for tree plantings and I also use it to release established switch and other NWSG plantings. One only needs 1-2 ounces per acre Herbicides...
