One foggy night an Iowa fan was heading south and an ISU fan was driving
north.
While crossing a narrow bridge they hit each other head-on, mangling
both cars.
The Cyclone fan manages to climb out of his car and survey the damage.
He looks at his twisted car and says, "Man, I'm lucky to be...

Re: Open Meeting/Deer Mangement
Just like Real Estate is all about "location, location, location" so is deer herd management all about "access, access, access".
More NR --> less access --> more deer. There is no way to get around this slippery slope. If you add more NR tags you get...
Wow...I found this comment particularly funny :
"do you think the guys in the group are just faking because they think it will get them laid? because no man should ever behave like this toward a tree. They should only shed a single tear when the family dog dies."

I agree with prior posts that at this point most everyone has made up their minds on which candidate they support and how they will vote come November... and I truly hope that everyone of us goes out and takes part in this process. The democratic process is what separates us from so many other...

Iowabowtech, rather than responding to the $5 million remark that McCain made, tongue in cheek or not, can you respond to my argument about the actual issue of trickle down economics being a failed policy of Bush that McCain subscribes to? As you pointed out, the media doesn't pay enough...

I support the idea of a flat tax, which neither parties do at the moment. But my idea of a flat tax would include ALL forms of income, so as to include all persons... capital gains, inheritance, you name it. If you are reaping the benefit of any gov't service, which you are if you simply exist...
The Bush Tax Cuts during a time of war, were the most fiscally unresponsible decision he could have made. If you want to go to war over a gut instinct, fine, but at least have the 'guts' to pay for it. As it is, our grandchildren's grandchildren's grandchildren will probably pay the price...
It would take too long a post, and I doubt anyone on here would read it anyway, to counter all of the right wing arguments and half truths posted online with regards to Obama, so I won't even try. Bottom line is Republican politicians have it figured out. They can be Pro Life (religion), Pro...

I have no problem with CRP other than what's already been said. If you take money from the gov't, you should not be able to lease it out for profit. It's contrary to the original impetus of the program ---> to improve the quality of hunting for all.
The earlier statement made about...
