If I apply next week before a rain, is a 24 hour period going to make it weaker?

We got over an inch yesterday, but nothing in the forecast til next Friday. Would putting some fertilizer on next thursday be a good idea, or just pissing money away?

It is my first time doing this. Worked the ground, put the seed down and got a great rain. However, I didn't get fertilizer on the ground. I am planning to do that next week prior to a rain...am I screwed?

Agree 100%, it leads to outfitters leasing up ground that displaces local guys who don't have the money to lease or buy ground. It will lead to less opportunities for the average non landowner, and thereby, lead to the slow decay of our pasttime and heritage.

Not really, he just like shooting a lot, just to make noise. I've tried to take him hunting..but he'd prefer shooting a mile at animal vs. being patient, scouting, scent control, etc.

I thought we had one...labor day as a deadline.. Then he said..ok..if I won't shoot in that timber...I'll shoot in the other 40 acre timber. I give up, I've got other good spots..but they are hunted on quite a bit, and won't always be there for me.
