    Best recipe

Cut a chunk of loin about 1" thick, wrap in bacon, grill to medium. Quick, easy, and some of the best steak you'll have if you ask me.

    Thoughts on this one?

No idea on score, but it looks like a pretty young deer? I'd say you have a very good up and comer right there!

Science or management of growing huge bass?

That sounds like a dream, good luck in your endeavors. Make sure when you do get it stocked all predator fish are released, as that's key to a healthy pond. I think that would be plenty big enough to put in some northerns! Good luck!

A converted Saiga 12, and a DPMS LR-308. Sold them both to fund a new house, both have easily double in price since.

    first timer

Another thing I learned, brush your barrel out between shots. It will make them easier to load and shoot tighter groups. I switched to trip 7 powder and was having the same problem as you, started brushing and it made a world of difference.

    Catfish

Any catfish over 4lbs or so I use this method. Clean like you usually would, and cut out all discolored meat, red lateral line, and the yellow fatty stuff in the belly. Dip the fillets in a pan of boiling water for about 20 seconds. Then pull back out, pat dry, bread, and then fry. Gets rid of a...
