Bucks only...Welcome to Minnesota.
Most of northern MN is antlerless lottery. For my area each hunter is allowed 1 deer. Archery tag is eithersex, and for rifle or black powder you have to apply for a doe tag. Consquently the first antlers that walk by most hunters get shot.
DBLTree any thoughts on mowing then disking? I would think a person may find it easier to get it tipped under with it being mowed and still get the same soil building qualitys or even more evenly spread through out the soil.
Why is your rye directly infront of the camera so tall? Deer...
My father plows in for a county in MN. He has no issues getting time off but unless your outta town on a planned trip you have to respond back to plow. He's missed several opening of firearms season due to snow fall.
However, my thoughts on the comment you made about getting time off is no...
So by looking at the pictures I could easily see the possibilty of equal or more tonnage. Im all about the tonnage due to lack of space. Heres where my thought process is going with the radishs. By looking at the pictures the radishs look "carrot" shaped. As far as the deer eating the root...
Dbltree, you never stop amazing me with your comparisons and indepth analysis of food plots. Amazing write up as usual.
If you were going to "classify" GHFR in terms of seasons, would you call it an "early season brassica"? Seems you talk about the deer getting into these earlier than the...
Hey all,
Had a good friend send me a text message Tuesday right at dark, "BBD". I didnt respond becuase I knew he'd call when he got of the woods with it. I missed the call and alls he said on the voicemail was bring your camera over. Well I got there and he told me "I want some pictures...
Muddy, another thing to consider is wraps add spine. They also take front of center percentage away aswell. Maybe add a wrap and 125grain heads? Total weight is going increase, your spine will still lessen but it wont be as bad. just a thought.
I've never had any issues with keeping blazers on with the Fletchtite Plantinum.
Im a big fan of Blazers. Its my understanding the 2in vanes need to be stiffer becuase thier so much shorter. I will gladly put up with some clearance issues when setting up new equipment for the accuracy I get...
Ice Up wont be long {*smiling evilishy*}.
Awesome fishing. I have a buddy that was catching his limit of walleyes and texting me in the deerstand second morning of season. However, I will trade a limit of walleyes for a 35+ muskie
ISHHHYYYY... I wouldnt think a second thought about pitching that meat in the brush.
I noticed the closed eyes and puffy face but assumed fighting aswell.
Went over to a buddys place last night that has the same gun as me just a few years newer. The sight must be the same company but its different style. The bead is way smaller up front. And WAY brighter. I have trouble seeing my fiber optic dots in the daylight.
Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has any issues with the front sight on thier CVA Optima.
I sat down on the bench on Tuesday with it and at a 100yds my front post covers a 6in circle. Pretty hard to shoot groups when you can be off by 4inches and never know. Now with that being said my...
I gotta disagree. Yea 40 acres of the right property is a great chunk but a 40acres isnt going to hold very many mature bucks at the same time. Consquently, I would want a minimum of 350 and 640 would be a great amount.
Wow... I guess Im the only one that Big Country is a joke. I will admit Nelson can take some abuse but he doesnt have the abilitys to beat Cain. Maybe Carwin if he gets Carwin on the ground or catches him with something but striking I will give to Carwin all day long.
