    Bow holders

I have and use all 3 sizes of the ezhanger. Love keeping 2 of the short ones in fanny pack for bowhunting, one for bow on one side and one for the back pack on the other. The long one is great but not as easy to squeeze in pack if pushed for space. I have the three arm and it has to be...

    Question about my oats

I have some oats, AWP, and a few soybeans in a small plot. Beans are all nipped off, the AWP and oats aren't getting touched. I just hope the AWP become attractive at some point, maybe the oats will get hit once the acorns are gone if it hasn't frosted too hard yet.

    Camera life thoughts

Leaf River DC2. Not the fastest but great on batteries. Guess hot and cold temps must not hurt cameras too much. Moisture probably biggest problem, or maybe rough handling? Or bears if you are Saskguy!

    Camera life thoughts

Reading about some problems guys have with various cams got me wondering just how long I should expect a digital camera that gets hung on a tree and left out in all kinds of weather, tossed in the backpack, ride around in the truck, just how long until it dies? I've still got my first, and...

Re: Field peas - Fall peas How different are Field peas from Austrian winter peas? Look very similar to me, could be the same for all I know! I can't deer to eat the AWP.

    Plagued by 8's

In the QDMA publication they listed research that shows genetics in free-ranging whitetails cannot be influenced by cullling. What I gathered from it is nutrition and social stress are things you can do something about so shoot more does and try improving the habitat.

    How often? How many? Ratio?

I have noticed certain spots seem to preferred by does and others by bucks, so cams over 2 different mineral licks show entirely different ratios. Guess they like to live in different places.

    Clover

I have a small clover plot doing fairly well, does have some weed growth. It is remote and I have never mowed it, but the clover has no blossoms and lots of nipped off stems. If the deer do the mowing for me, is there any other reason to clip other than to knock back the weeds? Just wondered...

    Fried Overgrown Pasture

I have done exactly what you guys are talking about. Two things I learned: 1 Spray with roundup several times before even bothering to try seeding. This gives weed seed a chance to germinate and then kill it. Investing a summer/season doing this really knocks weed growth back. 2 Don't expect...
