Hardwood, It appears from the google maps the open farm ground (about 7 acres) looks like a natural funnel to the crop ground behind. Being I do not want to be married to the plots I am thinking planting the whole thing in prairie grasses and leave about (2 or 3) half acre plots to play with.

I rebuilt a culti-packer last year, up till then I used a roller. But this is no ordinary roller, it is galvanized metal and filled with concrete. Very, very heavy. When I bought it I had to bring the quad and trailer to load, way to heavy to do by hand. It works great for rolling after seeding...

I took my dad last September, great trip. We stayed three different places outside the park, but we stayed at the Canyon Lodge cabins one night. It was not cheap, but not anymore than nice places around the park. But you have to watch for an opening, great central location. I would stay there...
