Hey all,
I have been a shotgun deer hunter for a lot of years now and want to take on the next challenge. I'm trying to get set up for bowhunting. I have shot very few bows in my lifetime and am curious if anybody has any suggestions on where to start. Any info and or suggestions on where to...
What is really sad is that people do or pull these stunts all the time and get away with it. When they are all finally caught and charged nothing becomes of it. Sounds like some home cookin at the courthouse to me. These guys give all hunters that follow the rules a bad name.
We only saw about a quarter of what we normally see. The snow was a big pain. We did see some nice deer but it was definitely hit and miss. There was a lot of standing corn too so I don't think that helped our cause much. Either way we still did alright.
I hope they really put the screws to this guy. He not only makes all gun owners look bad but intentionally firing in the direction of the hunter could have had deadly results. Stick it to this guy.
So I am excited to see some snow on the ground for the second shotgun season...but not this much. We will probably stick to our usual methods of the hunt for this weekend, but does anybody have any good ideas for hunting in the heavy snow? Should we change the format of our pushes and posts...
