jeep vs 4 wheeler or gas cart

What's gonna be the main purpose for your rig? If you're going to be using it to mostly hunt with I'd strongly suggest one of the electric buggies. If it will be used mostly for farm work duties I'd suggest one of the gas side by sides. I've owned 2 jeeps, 2 yamaha rhinos, a badboy buggy, a...

    Brassicas

I planted 5 plots last weekend with some Biologic brassicas, Whitetail Institute Tall Tine Tubers, and purple top turnips. The next day we got rains on each farm ranging from 1" to 2.5". Should I be worried about getting to much rain to start on my plots and be prepared to reseed? Thanks in...

    Worthy of sharing

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say once in hard horn he's gonna tickle the heck out of 160's. What's the date of the pic? He's looking great now and definately got some growing to do. Got any side profiles? Arrow him and prove me wrong :way:

    quiver on or off bow.

Just remember to practice shooting your bow with it however you plan to hunt with it. If you practice with the quiver off or empty of arrows the bow balance will be different than it will be with the quiver on and full of arrows. This will cause you to torque the bow differently. Just a helpful...

    new to muzzleloader hunting

As for a scope if you're wanting one with the bullet drop compensation dots I chose the Leupold Ultimate Slam over the Nikon Omega and they're both in the same price range. However my new Savage this year is topped with a Burris 30mm with the BDS system. I like the Burris and the Leupold it's...

    Fawns?

Saw 2 this weekend. One of them scared the devil out of me. Walked to within bout 3 feet of it laying in knee high grass before it jumped up and suprisingly ran off pretty quickly. On another note in this same field I think I saw Elvis, the big typical we were after last year. We think he was...

WTB - Prosumer Style Video Camcorder

Thanks IowaDave. You make a good point. I'm also looking into buying a good camera to start filming some hunts as well as family stuff. It does make a lot more sense to buy from a trust worthy individual rather than a scam on ebay. Not to hi jack KCCyclone's post but I would like to hear what...

    How much longer?

I saw a couple during my turkey hunting that had already started to fork as well. I got all my cams out last night and set them up around the house to make sure they're working(man the wife loves them lol). Gonna try and get out over the holiday weekend or the next to set them up.
