Go at it with a positive attitude and know that there are a lot of really big deer at that time that are cruising...hoping for one last chance at love. I know in our area, that is the time that some of the biggest bucks check out new areas and disperse.

This is the strangest year. I live on a river bottom, and still have only seen the beginning signs of rut. I saw two decent bucks, and neither of them were with does, and the does I have seen still aren't skitish/nervous from being chased around...I'm actually kind of surprised because of all...
